Bellevue— April 25th, 2008 — Magical Mystery Troupe, the only provider of comedic murder mysteries on the Eastside of Seattle, today announced it has joined forces with the North Seattle Soroptimists to build a Playground at the Catherine Booth House which is operated by the Salvation Army. Magical Mystery Troupe has been looking for the next RIGHT thing to come its way and this is it! It’s a Fun Fundraiser. Located at the prestigious Maggiano’s in Bellevue, come and help raise money for a great cause. Maggiano’s of Bellevue is one of Bellevue’s finest restaurants.
Magical Mystery Troupe provides top entertainment with “Killing Mr. Withers” a superb cast and very funny script help to lead the audience in interactive participation. Imagine you are stranded because your Tour Bus broke down in front of the only building in miles, and it is shaped like a big Cactus. You are greeted by Hitchcock’s finest insane characters; they are all pretty guilty of some crime. Don’t close your eyes for a moment; don’t assume you can figure out this “Whodunit”. Even the birds are acting strange. And who is this Mr. Withers, they say he is a banker from Bellevue….This is entertainment at it’s finest. Magical Mystery Troupe is appealing to long time fans and brand new audiences with this smart thriller.
Another element of this evening is the Silent Auction being hosted by the Soroptimists of N Seattle. There are many items on the auction list that will be very desirable, such as 2 bottles of Chuhuly Wine, Hand Painted China, Jewelry, Dinner at Metropolitan Grill, Massages and Spa Treatments, baskets of extraordinary products. We are very proud of this auction. Magical Mystery Troupe has experienced immense success over the last few years due to the exponential growth of patrons looking for a great and inexpensive evening out at a wonderful restaurant like Maggiano’s Little Italy in Bellevue, states founder Jody Montague. “This has really changed our shows, we are trying to be a lot more professional however, still keep the prices low for dinner entertainment. Magical Mystery Troupe is capitalizing on the Las Vegas style of this show to bring in the people with money to burn. The Salvation Army’s Catherine Booth House PLAYGROUND will cost over $40,000. Order your tickets on line at www.magicalmysterytroupe.com or call 425-681-6485. Some of the other shows Magical Mystery Troupe can do are: “Marry Me Medieval”, “I Now Pronounce You Dead”, “Murder on the Spaghetti Trail”, “The Alto’s, Just like the Sopranos, only Lower” and then we have the more musical “Bullets For Broadway”, and of course this show “Killing Mr. Withers”, an Alfred Hitchcock styled comedy with musical numbers too!! This will be really funny and a bit more intelligent for a more sophisticated audience in Bellevue.”
Instead of cumbersome, costly drive-time and parking in downtown Seattle to pay close to $100.00 per ticket, Magical Mystery Troupe charges between $32.00 and $67.00 per ticket and gives the audience a 3 course meal. Price is determined by the Restaurant. What else gives you as much fun and food for that price? The Mystery train was $80.00 per ticket. Magical Mystery Troupe uses the power of the internet to give customers dates, times and cost of the shows and what the story line is. MMT is available for private parties and fundraisers as well as regular shows for driving new business into banquets rooms in Bellevue. The result is better entertainment for the money, with better location, free parking, and fantastic food. What better way to say “I know what to do in Bellevue on May 18th, 2008 at 6PM” supports the kids by building a PLAYGROUND?
